The covers of this artist book, edited by the Gerlovins, are kraft paper envelopes; the front cover contains a loose folded sheet for the colophon and the back cover information on Issue No.3. Each of the other 21 envelopes consists of a cellophane windowed, white paper envelope that contains a contribution by the artist/poet. Scope and Contents This unique book was shown at an exhibition at Galerie 13 in Hannover, Germany from January 19 - February 24, 1996. Indeed, a catalogue reproducing the works in this book is included in a folder within the book; a brochure announcing the exhibition is also included. The book is divided into five parts, three in the first part and two in the second part of the dos-a-dos design. The first part includes Andryczuk's "Cosmographic Poetry and Art." This consists of 18 pages of rubberstamped images like an accordion and a stylized sun figure with a single letter in colored ink alongside the image. In addition, there are four pages of rubberstamped bees and drawn ink and gold figures and letters on commercially printed material.The second section entitled, "Letters for myself" consists of 18 pages of airmail envelopes collaged onto a white page which has been rubberstamped, "KOPIA" at the top and 030495 at the bottom. Scope and Contents This work consists of a a painted box with two bookshelves and a horizontal compartment within its center divide. It houses 10 folders holding large, handmade postcards usually from thick cardboard or fragments of hard cover bookbindings. The hard cover book documents the project, annotates the postcards, and depicts photocopied colored reproductions of one side of all the postcards. The folders hold the original postcards No.1-166 between Freddy Flores Knistoff and Harmut Andryczuk, No.167-247 between Wolf Rosenthal and Harmut Andryczuk, No.248-276 between Harmut Andryczuk and Wolf Rosenthal, No.277-298 between Harmut Andryczuk and Pierre Garnier and between Pierre Garnier and Harmut Andryczuk, and No.299-339 between Harmut Andryczuk and Freddy Flores Knistoff. The writer is identified through a symbol assigned to each. Further, Wolf Rosenthal signature on his postcards often is "lobo."
